Fall 2010 Co-Ed Football General InformationOnline Sign-Ups FORMAT: 8 versus 8 on the field, Co-ed Football (5 males & 3 females). 2 hand touch, no contact, no blocking. Minimum age 21 years old. GAME TIMES: Saturdays between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm starting September 11 . Games last approximately 1-hour. WEATHER: Games are played unless Montgomery County cancels our use of their fields due to weather conditions. For severe weather, check the website or call the Rain Hotline: 301-565-3837. SSB will make-up two rained-out games. A third TBD rain make-up date may be scheduled for Playoffs if needed. SSB will give all play-off teams two weeks’ notice when the make-up date is determined. There will be no refunds due to weather cancellations. SEASON: 8-week regular season w/ single elimination play-offs. Approximately 30% to 40% of the teams in each division will make playoffs (exact number of teams to be determined by SSB.) PRIZES: Prizes for the winning team! FIELD LOCATION: Meadowbrook Park in Rock Creek Park, Randolph Hills park and Norwood Local Park. FEE: $65 per player. BAR SPONSOR: Tommy Joe's - 4714 Montgomery Lane, Bethesda, MD 20814. Bar offers $2 Miller Lites and other drink and food specials for SSB players after games. TWO or THREE DIVISIONS: “High Life” division is for teams that prefer to be more competitive. “Miller” division is for teams that prefer to be a little less competitive. "Lite" division for the teams that just want to have fun without worrying about being competitive. Sign-up online. Players are encouraged to sign-up online as league capacity is limited and based on a first come, first serve basis. If you sign-up online please come and join us for happy hour during the in person sign-up nite.

$260 nonrefundable deposit to reserve your team’s spot. $65 per player due at Tee-Shirt pick-up date (minus the $260 deposit). Minimum number of players per team is 12. No max number of players. Cash or check only for in-person sign-ups.

All SSB players and friends are welcome to the season kick-off happy hour!! Great drink and food specials! Team captains can pick the shirts up and then meet up with your team afterward!
Only team captains or their representatives can pick up the shirts. Team captains please collect the following to be turned in:

Completed waivers – one for each player.

Completed roster – see roster sheet link above.

Balance of money due - the remainder of the fees are required at this time (minus the initial deposit)
In order to receive all of your team tee-shirts, you must have a signed waiver and payment for each player. Unless special exceptions are made, teams will receive a $50 fine if they do not have payments and waivers completed by the team captain’s meeting. Free Agents and players must get their shirts from their team captain.
