The 5th Annual Dodging Diabetes Charity Dodgeball Tournament will be held on Saturday, March 20th, 2010 at 9:30am in Rockville, Md.  Registration is now open.  100% of the proceeds benefit the Joslin Diabetes Center.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
SSB member Laura Chmar will be holding a silent auction and raffle at Caddies this Saturday the 12th from 12:30-4 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Come bid on great items including a personal chef, restaurant gift certificates, spa treatments, Tickled Pink gift basket, cooking classes, and yoga classes.  All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in its work to cure blood cancers.  Check out the Look Sheet of auction items.

EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY:
The Metropolitan DC Chapter  has a  unique HAPPY HOUR walk held on the rooftop of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman – 2300 N Street, NW on May 9, 2007 at 6:00 PM (the local chapter of the CF Foundation holds a total of 11 walks in the Metropolitan DC Area). I am hopeful that you would join us in forming one or more fund-raising walk teams for Great Strides.  If you would like more information, contact Tara (301) 657-8444 or twaites@cff.org.

Band Together:
June 3rd - Grassroots arts and music festival. “Band Together” was born in acknowledgment of the poignant social and economic problems at home and abroad. It not only represents Bands coming together and playing for a purpose, but also symbolizes the desire of the average man to “Band Together” to help combat domestic violence and support international needs through education.

DODGING DIABETES:
Charity Dodgeball Tournament!
When: Sunday, March 25, 2007
Tournament is organized by Dodging Diabetes. 26 teams will compete in Bethesda, Md. for a chance to win the championship title. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Joslin Diabetes Center, dedicated to Conquering Diabetes in All of its Forms.

SSB member Heather Spurrier is participating in the Leukemia Team In Training for the Country Music Marathon in Nashville, Tennessee. Heather is seeking contributions for her cause.
